Billy Martinez, Lord of Irrelevant Knowledge & Keeper of Unusual Statistics. The Brooklyn, NY native bleeds New York Yankee pinstripes, is rumored to be determinedly left handed and is known to do interesting stuff like design, develop and bake. With more than 15 years as a professional Nerd, he knows more than enough to make him dangerous. It’s enough to make him good at what he does. His current pet project is the Geek Culture Website ID10-T.com.
As an early pioneer of the Internet, Chuck built his first profitable website in 1996 at 18 years of age. In college he studied computer software engineering. He quickly learned to analyze search results and implement strategies that took advantage of the observations he made. Throughout his career of creating, managing, and consulting for dozens of internet-based companies, Chuck has been instrumental in developing strategies that lead to growth and profitability. Among people he works with, Chuck is regarded as “the idea guy.” He is known for his ability to spot opportunities and take full advantage of them.

David has been working with WordPress professionally for five years. An alumnus of the University of Central Florida, David stays involved in the Orlando tech and development community. An organizer of the Orlando WordPress Meetup and of WordCamp Orlando 2012, David likes giving back to community, hoping to repay some of the help and advice that has been given to him over the years. David’s newest project, 8bitWP, is part of this attempt; a new WordPress tutorial and training site for beginning to advanced users.
David, a Computer Science major at the University of Central Florida, has been working with WordPress for over five years now. He is currently employed by hostdime.com as a web developer working with WordPress consistently. With thousands of visitors to coming to HostDime’s sites every day, security is always on the top of David’s mind.
Orlando WordCamp 2012 co-organizer. Moved to America in 1991 as a fresh faced undergraduate. Got his masters from Cornell University in 1998. Online travel pioneer and hospitality entrepreneur. Has an unhealthy fascination with online search and hospitality booking technology.
After surviving the corporate cubicle life of pixel pushing, James made his way back to sanity and to what he loves — creating things with purpose – with the attention to detail like a true craftsman. Co-Founder of Easily Amused, Inc., he has an eye for design, usability, and know-how to build it all if needed. An avid collector of random awesomeness and thrift-store artifacts, James is always finding something interesting to spark his creativity.

Kai Armstrong is the Director of Happiness for ZippyKid, providing affordable Managed WordPress Hosting for small businesses and business bloggers. He wrote his first line of html at the ripe age of 15. For the next decade he continued writing code for everything from from websites, BlackBerry Applications and Boxee Apps, playing around with it all until he eventually got hired by the University of Central Florida and then on Stetson University. In 2010 he met Vid at ZippyKid where, along with his coworkers, he makes customer’s WordPress sites happy. Ken Granger has taught more than 10,000 small business owners how to brand their business and leverage the power of the internet to increase sales, brand loyalty and quality of life. Ken has been working with WordPress since 2008 and he and his team have built more than 3,000 WordPress websites.

Mark is a Lead Developer on the WordPress core and a freelance WordPress consultant with a focus on security, scaling, and custom plugin development. He first used WordPress in 2003, and really didn’t care for it. But in 2004, he was won over, and has been developing on it ever since. Mark’s personal goal is to bring intuitive, low-cost web publishing to everyone who has anything to say.
Mark Miller is an Orlando based Blogger, Technophile, and Small Business Consultant. By day he Technology Support Manager for a Kissimmee based startup. By night he helps small businesses and other startups optimize their results by helping to streamline their workflows and processes. On the weekends he can usual be found riding the coasters at Universal, or hanging out with his fiancé and their two small dogs around Baldwin Lake.
Based in Sarasota, Florida, Mason is an expert at supporting WordPress. He heads one of the largest commercial WordPress support teams on the planet, at WPMU DEV, and has recently launched his own WordPress management and support business, WP Valet. He’s made an art of making people happy with their WordPress experience, which usually involves being nice, listening to their problems, and not complaining about them (to their faces).
Randy Hoyt has built numerous custom WordPress themes and plugins for client websites, working as an independent consultant and as a developer for an interactive agency. He currently teaches PHP at Treehouse. Offline, he spends his free time playing board games and studying mythology.
Syed Balkhi is the founder of WPBeginner. He is known for his agressive marketing skills, creative designs, and expertise in SEO.
Syed has been in the industry for over eight years, and he has worked with some of the top brands in the industry.
Zac currently teaches WordPress for the amazing online learning site Treehouse. An experienced educator, Zac has taught web design and development at the middle school, high school, and university level. In addition to teaching, Zac owns a web design company, Wide Sky Web, which specializes in WordPress theme customization for small businesses.
