Tickets

How Do I Get Tickets?

Ticketing is handled through WordCamp, and reported to us. There is no physical ticket for you to print and bring. The registration table will have your information, and you can bring identification at the door to claim your goodies and shirt.

There is no guarantee of a shirt of your size being available after the 19 November order cutoff.

If you purchase a ticket at the door on Saturday, there is no guarantee that there will be enough stock of shirts.

Sorry, but there are currently no tickets for sale. Please try again later.

    Thanks

  2. Erik Rocha says:

When/where are we able to buy tickets?

    • David says:

My apologies, more information is forthcoming, but tickets will be for sale on this site starting next month. I will have more information when release date is closing. Thank you for following!

  3. Kate Harrison says:

Thank you for the info! Looking forward to the event.

  4. Nicholas Andersen says:

Any idea of ticket prices? What kind of interval are you releasing tickets at? I don’t want to miss out.

    • David says:

Tickets will be $20 each, which includes entry and lunch, as well as other goodies including entry for the after party, more details forthcoming for that. We plan on releasing them in blocks of 100 currently, just so there’ll be more than one opportunity to snag them.

  5. Diane D says:

Please let me know when the tickets can be purchased!

  6. Remee says:

Have tickets gone on sale already?

    • David says:

Our current intention is to get tickets on sale this week, preferably Wednesday, after we get a few more things cleared. Sorry for the delay!

  7. Bob says:

Would love to go to this Wordcamp… When can we buy?

  8. Andreia Jackson says:

I don’t think that they posted the tickets yet

  9. Nicholas Andersen says:

Looks like I missed the first batch. Any idea when the next ones will go out?

    • David says:

Sorry about that, we’re waiting on a few things to get tickets for sale, but the intention is this week, preferably on Wednesday. I apologize for the delay!

  10. Eric says:

    Any update today?

    Thanks.

  11. Gregg says:

At least we all know there is lots of interest because we’re all hitting this page daily to see when the tickets will be available.

Thanks David – we know they’ll be available soon !

  12. David says:

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. After final confirmation, tickets will be available to begin purchase tomorrow morning. Again, sorry to keep you waiting and continue postponing. We have an excellent lineup of speakers and plenty of fun planned for the event. Thank you all for following, and I look forward to meeting everyone at WordCamp Orlando 2012!

  13. Cindy Anderson says:

I was purchasing 2 tickets, separately. I have received an email confirmation for one ticket, but not for the other. Since these are being made for 2 separate people with the same credit card and email address. I need to know the t shirt size for the confirmed ticket. So I know which sale is confirmed and I can go forward and make the second sales that was not confirmed. If you need more information email me. Thanks, Cindy.

    • Cindy Anderson says:

      Never mind… I think I’ve got it.

      • David says:

Hi Cindy, let me know if you have other issues. I don’t have full control over it but can pass along info. I do see you have one cancelled purchase and another one. All good?

        • Cindy Anderson says:

Well, Dave, it seems as though I have purchased only 1 ticket for David Anderson. Would you check your records to see if I am registered? I can not find a receipt number on the Attendee Information.

          • David says:

Hi Cindy, I have one ticket for you that was timed out during purchase, and one for Cynthia Anderson that was cancelled. You shouldn’t be charged, since the ticket didn’t go through, but if so let me know and I’ll send it over to WordCamp Central.

For now, if you still intend on attending, I’d get a ticket while there are still some remaining.

  14. Bob says:

Thanks for getting the tickets on sale. I was able to purchase mine no problem.

See you on December 1st all!

  15. Did not receive confirmation
How do I update information I submitted? Can we access the ticket again?

  16. Erin Calvino says:

I just tried a few times to order tickets and got an error. Is there another way to purchase my tickets?

    • David says:

Hello Erin, I’m looking into this, but I’ve gotta get someone with WordCamp to take a look too. I’ll let you know when it’s resolved, but I will keep a ticket reserved for you.

  17. Marco says:

Hi! Is the date final? Because we are going to book the air tickets!

  18. Marco says:

    Europe!!!

  19. Renee says:

Why is Paypal the only option of payment? Sorry for the lame question; however in the past Paypal was a real issue spamming me so I truly don’t care to use a form of payment that spams me. Is there no alternative to Paypal?

Thanks in advance for letting me know how I can pay for my ticket.

    • David says:

The payments are all controlled through WordCamp, so I’m checking with them, but for right now it’s just PayPal as far as I know.

  20. Jane Powers says:

Hi David, how do I order the tickets ? Should I use Pay Pal or would Visa Debit be better ?
Hurry I do not want to miss out.
    Thanks for your help.

    • David says:

Hello Jane, for now the only way that I’m aware of to get tickets is through PayPal, or using their payment gateway for additional cards. I will let you know if I get further information.

  23. Mike says:

Hi, im from Dominican Republic, i bough the ticket and i want to know if you can send me some letter via email like an invitation, for example like this (is a requisite for my trip): https://www.xpressreg.net/register/grap023/VisaLetter.asp?b=201049&o=31005

  24. Lee says:

I am trying to register. Are you having problems with the link?

  25. Edwin says:

Is there anyway I can refund the ticket? I purchased the ticket but I may not be able to attend.

    Thanks

    • David says:

I can send your information to WordCamp Central, who control ticket sales. Can I get your full name to send to them?

      • Edwin says:

Can I still get the goodies and shirt if I’m not attending? Can my co-workers get that for me?

        Thanks

        • David says:

If you’ve purchased a ticket, yes for the shirt. We made just enough of them so at the moment I can’t say that there will be any extra for those that didn’t buy tickets.

A contingent from Duval County will be coming down….
    Looking forward to attending….

  31. James Savino says:

I have had an unfortunate need to cancel my ticket, is it possible to get a refund?

Sorry guys. Out of my control.

    James

    • David says:

Hi James, the general guidelines for WordCamp are that since we don’t handle the money from ticket sales, we prefer that you either gift your ticket to someone else, or use that as a donation to the WordCamp Foundation. Let me know if this is an isssue.

Hey Eileen, thanks for the publicity! One question though: could you rewrite it just a bit so that it doesn’t look like the email still? Thanks!

  33. Anthony Swatek says:

Bought two tickets – for me and my girlfriend – and now she can;t go. Any way of refunding one ticket or me offering it to someone else? The name I registered that won;t be in attendance now is Renee Riggs. Thx. Let me know. Tony

    • David says:

Hi Tony, you can easily offer your ticket to someone else; we aren’t too strict on names or anything. The general guidelines for WordCamp are that since we don’t handle the money from ticket sales, we prefer that you either gift your ticket to someone else, or use that as a donation to the WordCamp Foundation.

  34. James Savino says:

Hmmm…..I get it, I don’t know any other locals who can go on short notice.

Maybe you can send me a swag bag instead? Thanks in advance.
